ARK gutta-percha solvent is used for removing gutta-percha at the time of root canal re-treatment. Also useful for removing all types of root canal filling materials, including zinc oxide eugenol cement, or as a cleaner for endodontic instruments. Instructions for use: - Dispense ARK Gutta- Solv into a dappen dish or directly on cotton pallet. - Place the soaked cotton pellet on the root canal filling material and cover with temporary cement (Zinc Phosphate). Remove the softened filling material after two days. Benefits: - To remove all types of root canal filling materials, including zinc oxide-eugenol cement. - As a disinfectant/cleaner for endodontic instruments, less volatile. - Pleasant orange smell, removing gutta-percha at the time of root canal re-treatments. - Less volatile as compared to trichloroethylene, cleaning cements from tools and equipment, softens and dissolves gutta-percha, allowing better canal fill and condensation during root canal retreatment in endodontic treatments.
