Purpose: - The product must be used in medical institution. - Used for root canals disinfection, highly efficient in vital pulpotomy due to its antibacterial activity. - Being more mild than arsenic paste, it’s often used in pediatric dentistry. Composition: - %48.5 Formaldehyde, %48.5 Cresol, %3 Glycerine – Classic formula. Direction for use: - Immediate treatment: After the coronal pulp extraction, cotton/wool pellet with Formocresol is placed directly on the wound, after 5 minutes, the tampon is removed and cavity is covered with ZOE material and permanently filled. Prolonged treatment: - Cotton pellet/turnunda with Formocresol is placed on pulp extraction site and covered with the provisional cavity filler for one week. - After that, tampon is removed, cavity filled with ZOE material and permanently filled. Packaging: - Cresol – Bottle, Liquid 15 ml.
